Training at the “right” intensity seems to be a topic coaches and trainers can disagree on. There seems to be divide between HR training, pace zone training, training by feel, or any combination of the 3. To make things more complicated, everyone seems to come up with their own formula to calculate these zones.
Something I would like to see and will attempt to work on is a dashboard for showing training zones for individual runs and any grouping of runs. Essentially it would be similar to what strava already shows, but can pool data from multiple runs. A specific application of this which comes to mind is the 80/20 rule; wouldn’t it be great to see your overall time spent in zones during a training period?!
